Welcome to Indonesia at a Crossroads
Hi, I’m Febriana Firdaus! With over 15 years of experience as a journalist, I’ve reported on politics, environmental issues, and global events for 25+ publications worldwide. From breaking news and live-blogging major events to producing in-depth stories, cross-border investigations, podcasts, and documentaries—I’ve dedicated my career to giving voice to the voiceless. This platform is where I share a newsletter that explore into Indonesian politics and beyond.
What is the newsletter about?
It covers four key topics: politics, the economy, human rights, and environmental issues. The political section takes a closer look at Prabowo Subianto’s administration and policies, while the economy section provides updates on Indonesia’s fiscal policy and the rupiah. Environmental issues, which I believe are intertwined with human rights, highlight stories from the grassroots.
